Almond Milk Recipe (makes 1 litre)
- 1 cup Raw Almonds, soaked in water for 12 hours
- A pinch of Himalayan Pink Salt
- 1/2 tsp Ground Cinnamon
- 1/4 Vanilla Extract
- 3 cups of Filtered Water
Using a food processor combine the soaked almonds with the salt, cinnamon and vanilla extract until coarsely chopped. With the motor running add the water until the ingredients are very well grounded.
Strain the mixture through a piece of muslin cloth into a glass bottle, bowl or jar. Cover with a lid.
Keep the milk refrigerated until ready to use.
Tip - dry off the almond pulp to make almond meal by putting the dry almond pulp into the processor again until they resemble crumbs. Store in the fridge.
